Q: Can I use this product on my face?
A: Made in the Shea products are intended for use as a body moisturizer and may be too rich to use as a facial moisturizer. For those with very dry skin, you may use it on the face, but please be sure to avoid the area around the eye.
Q: Is All Shea Butter The Same?
A: Quite frankly, no. All shea butter is not the same. Many companies try to promote shea butter as 100% pure shea butter. In many cases, the shea butter they are promoting is not always the best you can get. Generally, there are two types of shea butter that are commonly promoted right now. The difference between the two is that one is refined, and one is not.
Q: What is different about refined and unrefined shea butter?
A: Shea butter, in its natural state, varies in color from a beige to off-white, to a mild yellow, to a bright yellow, and has a slight nutty/smoky odor to it. When shea butter has been refined, the color and odor is removed, making it white in color, and odorless. Though nothing is added during this process, which is why it is still 100% shea butter, by removing the natural color and odor of the butter, some of shea butter’s reported healing potential is lost.
Q: What about allergies?
A: Shea butter products are not recommended for people with nut or latex allergies.

Our whipped Shea butter contains 70% Shea, 29% Sweet Almond Oil, 1% Vitamin E
Our face Shea contains 90% Shea, 9% Sweet Almond Oil, 1% Vitamin E
Our Fizzie and Lip Balm products contain unrefined shea butter.
